
Rebollar Earns Spot on Bench in Week 22 TOW

SEASIDE, Calif. - Monterey Bay F.C. earned its sixth consecutive result over the weekend in the club's matchup against El Paso Locomotive FC at Cardinale Stadium on August 6 behind a game-winning goal from Adrian Rebollar in the 88th minute of the match. Following his performance in the win, Rebollar was named to the bench for USL Championship's Team of the Week in Week 22.
Rebollar propelled the Union to a 1-0 victory, the club's third consecutive win, with a late goal for the Crisp and Kelp. In addition to his game-winning goal, Rebollar won eight duels on the night and recorded four interceptions, two clearances, two tackles and one chance created.
It is the second match in a row that the club has won 1-0 with a goal in the 85th minute or later after scoring in the 90+3 minute of added time against Loudoun United FC the week prior. It is also the club's seventh goal in the 85th minute or later so far this season.

With a busy two-match week ahead, Monterey Bay F.C. will look to extend its impressive run of six matches unbeaten first against San Diego Loyal SC at Torero Stadium at 7:00 p.m. PT tomorrow, before hosting Sacramento Republic FC at 7:00 p.m. PT at Cardinale Stadium on Saturday. Both matches can be streamed live on ESPN+.
