Win-loss records: The Rebels enter the contest with a 2-15-2-0 record and losers of their last 12 outings, while the Hitmen have won three of their last four games and own a 8-7-2-0 slate.

Scoring: C Ben King leads all Red Deer scorers with eight goals and 12 assists for 20 points in 17 games. Next in line is LW Arshdeep Bains (6-9-15), while C Chris Douglas has recorded nine points (5-4) and LW Josh Tarzwell (6-2) and C Ethan Rowland (5-3) have accumulated eight apiece; RW Josh Prokop is atop the Calgary points parade with eight goals and 11 helpers for 19 points. LW Sean Tschigerl (10-6-16), C Riley Fiddler-Schultz (4-9-13) and LW Adam Kydd (6-5-11) are also into double figures.

Goaltending: Rebels rookie Chase Coward fell 3-2 to Medicine Hat in his only start of the season and sports a 3.03 goals-against average and .914 save percentage. Ethan Anders has a win-loss record of 1-7-2 with a 4.50 GAA and .866 save percentage and Byron Fancy is 1-7-1 with accompanying numbers of 5.34 and .841; Hitmen goaltenders Brayden Peters and Jack McNaughton possess respective stats of 5-5-1, 3.39 and .901, and 3-2-1, 3.37 and .892.

Notable - Hitmen D Luke Prokop was selected by the Nashville Predators in the third round of last year's NHL entry draft. Teammate C Riley Stotts was a third-round pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2018.
