Rebels' Toth Named WHL Goaltender of the Month

CALGARY, AB - The Western Hockey League announced today that Rylan Toth of the Red Deer Rebels has been named the VAUGHN WHL Goaltender of the Month for February 2015.

An 18-year-old from Saskatoon, S K, Toth posted a record of 4-3-0-1 over eight appearances in February along with a 2.46 goals against average and a .922 save percentage. In five of the games he started, Toth held the opposition to two goals or fewer.

Toth's play helped the Rebels to a 5-5-1-1 record through February while the Club is currently in a playoff position. The 6'1", 201 lb netminder earned two first star honours as well as an additional third star selection in February.

Toth is in his first WHL campaign with the Rebels and has posted a 25-15-3-5 record with one shutout in 49 career regular season contests.

These accomplishments make Rylan Toth a deserving choice as the VAUGHN WHL Goaltender of the Month for February.
