
Real Salt Lake Welcomes Portland Timbers FC to Utah and Wednesday

SANDY, Utah - Real Salt Lake returns home to face the Portland Timbers on Wednesday, October 14 at Rio Tinto Stadium, seeking to break its three-match winless run. Kickoff from Sandy is set for 7:30 p.m. MT and will be broadcast live locally on KMYU, the KSL TV app and ESPN700 radio.

RSL enters Sunday's match after falling 2-1 to Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday in Portland, a match that saw RSL's Damir Kreilach notch his team-leading 7th goal of the 2020 season.
Wednesday will be the 24th all-time meeting between RSL and Portland with Salt Lake trailing in the series at 7-9-7. RSL holds a 5-5-2 record against Portland in Utah since 2011. In the last meeting between the sides, RSL mounted a two-goal comeback effort in late-August to secure a 4-4 draw at Providence Park courtesy of goals from Corey Baird, Giuseppe Rossi, Sam Johnson and Kreilach.
Portland enters the midweek contest off the back of a 3-0 win over San Jose on Sunday and currently sit second in the West.
