MLS Disciplinary Committee Decisions Announced

NEW YORK - The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found Atlanta United and the New York Red Bulls in violation of the mass confrontation policy during the 75th minute of their match on Oct. 10. Both clubs have been issued a warning for their first violation.

Due to their roles in the mass confrontation, Atlanta United midfielder Jeff Larentowicz and New York Red Bulls midfielder Marc Rzatkowski each have been issued an undisclosed fine for instigating and escalating a mass confrontation in their match on Oct. 10.

In addition, the MLS Disciplinary Committee has found Atlanta United defender Franco Escobar in violation of the league's policy regarding hands to the face, head, or neck of an opponent. Escobar has been issued an undisclosed fine for his actions in the 75th minute of Atlanta's match against the New York Red Bulls on Oct. 10.
