SALT LAKE CITY (Wednesday, April 9, 2008) - Real Salt Lake players and the squad's ever-present mascot, Leo the Lion, will be out and about the Wasatch Front and Salt Lake Valley in the upcoming week, with highlights including rookie Tino Nunez and Leo the Lion helping the squad promote the importance of reading during a "Real Reading Program" assembly this afternoon in Midvale and midfielders Kevin Reiman and Kenny Cutler taking their turns in the Real Sports RSL Autograph Series at Fashion Place Mall. Who: FW Tino Nuñez and mascot Leo the Lion
When: Wednesday, April 9 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. MT
Where: Midvale Elementary School; 362 W. Center St. (7720 S.) in Midvale, UT
What: RSL rookie striker Tino Nunez and the team's popular mascot Leo the Lion will attend a "Real Reading Program" assembly at Midvale Elementary to promote the importance of reading to the school's students.
Who: MF Kevin Reiman
When: Wednesday, April 9 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. MT
Where: Real Sports kiosk at Fashion Place Mall; 6161 S. State Street in Murray, UT
What: Rookie midfielder Kevin Reiman will continue the RSL Autograph Series at Real Sports this evening, as he'll sign for sign at Fashion Place Mall from 7:00-8:00 p.m. While at the Fashion Place Mall Real Sports location, fans can take advantage of the kiosk's Item of the Week, the yellow '08 RSL training jersey for just $35.
Who: Mascot Leo the Lion
When: Friday, April 11 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. MT
Where: American Fork Junior High; 1120 N. 20 West in American Fork, UT
What: Leo the Lion will represent RSL and set the pace for everyone taking part in the "Healthy Hustle" 5k Fun Run/Walk in American Fork this Friday afternoon.
Who: MF Kenny Cutler
When: Monday, April 14 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. MT
Where: Real Sports kiosk at Fashion Place Mall; 6161 S. State Street in Murray, UT
What: Veteran midfielder Kenny Cutler will take his turn in the RSL Autograph Series at Real Sports next Monday at Fashion Place Mall from 7:00-8:00 p.m.
