SANDY, Utah (Monday, May 31, 2010) - After rounding out a perfect 5-0-0 month of May via a 4-1 win over Kansas City over the weekend, Real Salt Lake (6-3-1, 19 pts.) will carry its momentum - and a club-record five-game winning streak in League play - east this week to Washington D.C. for a pair of contests against D.C. United (2-8-0, 6 pts.).

On tap first for Real Salt Lake and United is a MLS Play-in qualifier for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday, June 2, at RFK Stadium, with the winner earning a spot into the tournament proper's Round of 16. Kick-off for Wednesday night's affair is set for 5:30 p.m. MT, and fans can follow the contest live online via a streaming video feed on www.dcunited.com or over the radio airwaves on KALL 700 Sports and www.KALL700Sports.com (English) (coverage begins with the America First Credit Union Pre-match Report at 4:30 p.m.).

Before the two sides meet again on the weekend, Real Salt Lake will do its own brand of sight-seeing around the District, starting with a handful of players participating in a community event on behalf of MLS W.O.R.K.S. and Nothing But Nets at the Washington Monument Thursday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. ET. Following on Friday, the squad will accept its standing invitation as MLS Cup champions to the White House to greet President Barack Obama during a ceremony at approx. 1:30 p.m. ET.

When the dust settles on RSL's travels around town, the Claret-and-Cobalt will get back at it against the Black-and-Red on Saturday, June 5, when the squads will again meet for a 5:30 p.m. MT kickoff at RFK Stadium, this time in a MLS regular season affair. KUSG (2.2 over-the-air/Comcast 111/Dish Network 12) will carry the action live from RFK - followed by the 30-minute America First Credit Union Post-game Show - as will RSL's official radio partners: KALL 700 Sports (America First Credit Union Pre-match Report at 4:30 p.m.), ESPN Deportes 1600-AM (Spanish), and Homero 106.1-FM (Spanish).
