SALT LAKE CITY (Tuesday, November 21, 2006) Real Salt Lake is pleased to announce that the team will be featured in the upcoming Primary Children's "Festival of Trees" taking place November 30th - December 2nd at the South Town Expo Center (9575 South, State Street).

The family of Brady Jensen, a former member of the UC Strikers who passed away last year at the age of 13 due to spinal meningitis, is creating the tree that will be known as "Love Real Soccer." The tree will be adorned with several team items donated by RSL, such as autographed t-shirts and soccer balls, two RSL merchandise gift baskets, two full season RSL ticket flex packages, several mini soccer balls and t-shirts, stickers, window clings and pencils. Brady was a big fan of RSL and attended several games before his untimely passing. Earlier this season, RSL and UYSA teamed up to honor Brady on Saturday, September 16th as RSL played host to FC Dallas. A youth parade known as the "Brady Jensen Youth Soccer Parade", featuring former teammates of Brady's from the UC Strikers kicked off the festivities. The first ever recipients of the "Brady Jensen Memorial Scholarship", Colin Williams and Scott Heaton were then honored, followed by Brady's mother Lisa Jensen receiving the "Sprint Soccer Mom of the Game."

The Brady Jensen Scholarship was founded by the Jensen family, and is awarded to the UC Strikers player who most exemplifies sportsmanship, enthusiasm, fair play, academic achievement, community involvement, and soccer ability. A scholarship is awarded in both the spring and fall seasons.

In addition to the scholarship, the Jensen family recently raised nearly $20,000 to remodel the waiting room at Primary Children's Hospital, where Brady received treatment for his illness. Since Brady's death last year, the Jensen family has been very pro-active in community outreach projects and memorial program initiatives in order to honor their son and ensure that his legacy lives on.

"Brady loved Real Salt Lake", said Brady's Aunt, Ginger Timmerman. "Soccer was such a big part of his life; he was so dedicated to the game. The best way we as a family felt that we could honor him is through soccer, and specifically Real Salt Lake. On behalf of my entire family, I would like to that everyone over at RSL for all they have done for us, and for the memory of Brady. I hope people come out to the Expo Center to see the tree, it is a great symbol of the bond that Brady formed with RSL."
