Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced that Heather Hefty has been promoted to the position of vice-president of finance. Hefty, who has served in the Royals' accounting and human resource departments since July of 2007, will continue her role in managing the organization's finance and personnel departments. In her new position, Hefty will take on a much more active role in the organization's planning and tracking of annual objectives.
Team President, Drew Bell, said "the organization is pleased to announce the promotion of Heather to Vice President. Her time and experience with the Royals has proven to be an invaluable asset. I'm very much looking forward to working closer with her on a daily basis to identify new areas of continued growth. We had a very successful first year under new ownership and are eager to continue to build each and every year going forward. Heather will be a big piece of seeing that happen."
Hefty, who is a graduate of the Reading Area Community College and was previously a staff accountant with the Wyomissing Area School District, resides in West Reading with her husband, Kevin, and their young twins, Alexa and Logan.
