April 4, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Rochester RazorSharks News Release
(Rochester, NY) The Rochester RazorSharks are ranked #4 in the recent minor league basketball power rankings posted on ProBasketballNews.com. The RazorSharks finished their inaugural season with a 30-4 record and captured the ABA Championship, defeating the Southern California Legends 117-114 in the championship game.
The CBA Champion Yakama Sun Kings are #1 on the list. Meanwhile, three other ABA teams received honorable mention recognition, the Southern California Legends, the Indiana AlleyCats, and the San Jose Skyrockets. Rochester played each of these teams once during the season, emerging victorious against all three.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
