Rochester RazorSharks News Release
(Rochester, New York)...The defending American Basketball Association champion Rochester RazorSharks, coming off a 102-82 win over Detroit on Super Bowl Sunday, upped their record to 17-6 and are now ranked #7 in the ABA Power Rankings, which determine the seedings for the ABA playoffs beginning in mid-March.
Rochester will host the Hollywood Fame on Sunday, February 11 at 2:05 p.m. The Fame (8-6) are making an east coast swing and feature 6'6" forward Billy Knight, who was named the most valuable player of the ABA All-Star Game two weeks ago. Knight, who played at UCLA, averages 22 points a game for Hollywood. The Fame ownership group that includes pop singer Nick Lachey, actor Geoff Stults ("7th Heaven" and "The Break-Up"), Stacy Keibler ("Dancing With the Stars"), former MLB All-Star Brady Anderson, NFL quarterback Kyle Boller of the Baltimore Ravens and NASCAR's Brian Vickers.
It's Watkins Glen Race Day, as the first 1,000 fans receive a free Watkins Glen poster, and the official Watkins Glen NASCAR show car and Pace car will be on display in the arena throughout the game.
ABA POWER RANKINGS - determines the seeds for the playoffs that begin on March 13 in a single elimination format. The top eight teams will receive byes in the first round, with #9-#24 participating in the first round. The teams then play down, with the higher seed hosting the home game - The power rankings are determined by the league office.

30 STRAIGHT WINS ON HOME COURT AND COUNTING
The RazorSharks have won 30 straight games on home court at The Blue Cross Arena, setting the Rochester professional basketball record for consecutive home wins. Rochester is 33-2 all-time on home court (13-0 this season) and have a 47-10 (.825) all-time overall record in the ABA. The RazorSharks last lost at home on Thursday, November 24, 2005 - Thanksgiving Night - to the Niagara DareDevils 116-111 - which was 440 days ago.
