(Rochester, New York)...The Rochester RazorSharks beat the cold outside and defeated the Strong Island Sound inside The Blue Cross Arena 91-85 to win their 29th consecutive game on home court on Thursday night in downtown Rochester. With temperatures in the single digits and a blowing snowstorm outside, the RazorSharks heated up the arena with another strong defensive performance to raise their record to 16-6 and win their ninth game in their last 11 starts.

Guard Demond Stewart led Rochester with 15 points and ABA All-Star forward James "Mook" Reaves had 12 points and 13 rebounds to send the RazorSharks to victory. Guard Lazarus Sims had 11 points and 11 assists and forward Brian Edwards contributed 12 points for Rochester. Strong Island's Brian Woodard had 24 points to lead the Sound, who fell to 13-10.

The RazorSharks are off for the weekend for the ABA All-Star Game, to be played Sunday, January 28 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Next home game for Rochester is Sunday, February 4 - Super Bowl Sunday - as they host the Detroit Panthers at 2:05 p.m.
