Rays Season at C. O. Brown opens in Royal Fashion

Southwest Michigan Devil Rays News Release
The Southwest Michigan Devil Rays start their first home stand of the season on April 8th. The Lansing Lugnuts will make the short trip to Battle Creek on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday's 2:05 p.m. home opener will be the third game of the opening series between the D-Rays and the Lugnuts as Wade Davis is scheduled to make his Southwest Michigan debut against Russ Savickas of Lansing. Davis is a 6'5" right hander from Lake Wales, FL. Davis posted an impressive 2.72 ERA in 15 games last year as a member of the Hudson Valley Renegades.
Following Saturday's game, the King and His Court will play against a local media all-star team. Eddie "The King" Feigner is kicking off his farewell tour in Battle Creek. The tour will be the capstone on The King's amazing 61 year career as the leader of His Court. The media team will include members from the Battle Creek Enquirer, Battle Creek Radio, WWMT and more.
Sunday features the first Family Sunday presented by McCullough Family Chiropractic. Bring the whole family out to enjoy America's Pastime. The kids can even pretend to be their favorite Devil Ray and run the bases after the 3:35 p.m. game.
The home stand continues with three games against the Fort Wayne Wizards on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday's game is what many hungry fans are looking forward to - Red Hot Chicago Hot Dogs for only a dime.

SATURDAY, APRIL 8: 2:05 p.m. The Devil Rays welcome the 1st 1,000 fans through the gates with Centennial Wireless Magnet Schedules. The King and His Court vs. Media All-Stars immediately follows the game.
SUNDAY, APRIL 9: 3:35 p.m. Family Sunday presented by McCullough Family Chiropractic. Kids run the bases after the game and can even start planning their future by becoming a member of the all new Devil Rays Kids Club presented by United Educational Credit Union.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 12: 11:05 a.m. It's a College Student and Business Person Special on Wednesday. We'll have a seminar conducted by the Devil Rays front office staff discussing sports management and marketing. Discounted group rates available for the game.
