The Bristol Pirates beat the Rays, 2-0, on August 22 at Hunnicutt Field. Bristol scored the only two runs of the game in the second inning. Brock Burke, for the Rays, takes the loss. Logan Sendelbach gets the win for the Pirates and Scooter Hightower with the save.
Princeton is second in the Appalachian League East, at 33-24, behind Pulaski. Bristol is fourth, at 25-27, in the West.
The only runs in the game came from Bristol in one play. Nick Buckner singled as Jordan George and Julio De La Cruz scored.
