PHOENIX - The playoff guaranteed Arizona Rattlers traded for NFL veteran Offensive Lineman JOHNATHAN INGRAM (6-3, 300, San Diego State) today.

Ingram, who was acquired from the Philadelphia Soul, was most recently with the Miami Dolphins during their 2007 offseason and training camp. Prior to that, he spent three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, originally signing with the team as a rookie free agent in 2003. Ingram spent the majority of 2004-06 on the team's practice squad, though was on the team's active roster for seven games in the '04 season.

"The rule changes last season placed a lot more emphasis on pass protection," said Head Coach Kevin Guy. "Johnathan is a player with a lot of value because he can play both center and guard. Protection comes first."

Traded to Philadelphia was WR Chris Horn, who was last with the team for seven games in 2003. Horn was re-added to the Rattlers roster after his release from the Carolina Panthers this summer with one season left on his Arena contract.

"Unfortunately, we could not come to an agreement to bring Chris Horn back to the Rattlers," said Guy. "We had a lot of depth at receiver and this trade allows us to add more depth to the offensive line. We wish Chris the best of luck in the future."

The 2008 Arizona Rattlers kickoff their 17th season in March, and have guaranteed their season ticket holders a trip to the playoffs. Season tickets, group tickets and premium single game tickets can be purchased by calling 602-379-2333.
