Rattlers to Hold Draft Party Wednesday at Nathaniel's Pub

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Rattlers will hold a Major League Lacrosse Draft Party at Nathaniel's Pub (251 Exchange St.) on Wednesday, May 28th at 7:30 p.m. Members of the Venom Dance Team and Rattler players Joe Walters and Pat Dutton will attend the event. Rattlers merchandise and tickets will be raffled off throughout the evening.
Rochester has the eighth overall selection in the 2008 MLL Collegiate Draft, which will take place at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. The Rattlers have five picks in the draft. The five-round Collegiate Draft features the elite college lacrosse players from the Class of 2008 and will be aired live on ESPN-U at 8:30 p.m. ET. The draft will be conducted in the Bissinger Room, situated on the fourth floor of the Wesley J. Howe Center located on the Stevens campus.
The Rattlers' home opener is on Saturday, May 31st at PAETEC Park against the two-time defending champion Philadelphia Barrage at 7:30 p.m. The contest will be broadcast live on WYL 1040-AM and wysl1040.com.
