
Rattlers Take Down the Gladiators

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Arizona Rattlers (9-2) defeated the Cleveland Gladiators (6-4) 63-42 Saturday at the US Airways Center.
QB NICK DAVILA completed 25-of-30 passes for 263 yards and eight touchdowns, finding WR JASON GEATHERS four times (10 catches, 111 yards) in the endzone.
WR TRANDON HARVEY also made a statement, catching five balls for 91 yards and three touchdowns.
Defensively, DB VINCE HILL grabbed a touchdown saving interception that bounced off of several Gladiator players at the 3:58 mark of the first quarter with the score set at 7-7. DL KYLE HARRINGTON collected 1.5 sacks for the Rattlers.
QB Kurt Rocco completed 27-of-42 passes for 328 yards and three touchdowns for the Gladiators. He spotted WR Thyron Lewis for two scores (13 catches, 157 yards).
With eight minutes left in the game, DB VIRGIL GRAY intercepted a pass from Rocco as the Gladiators were marching in for a score. On the next possession, Davila found Harvey for a 26-yard scoring strike to put the Rattlers up 55-35, breaking the game open.
