
Rattlers Drop Contest to the Rush

PHX, Ariz. - The Arizona Rattlers fell to the Chicago Rush (6-3) 50-49 Saturday night (May 14) to give the Rattlers (7-2) their first home loss of the season.
QB NICK DAVILA completed 23-of-31 passes for 297 yards and five touchdowns, spotting WR ROD WINDSOR (nine receptions, 119 yards) three times in the endzone.
FB ODIE ARMSTRONG tallied 24 yards on nine carries for two touchdowns to lead the Rattlers' rushing attack.
Defensively, the Rattlers garnered two interceptions, with DB MARQUIS FLOYD and DB VIRGIL GRAY each stealing a possession from the Rush. DL KYLE HARRINGTON notched one sack.
QB Russ Michna threw for 267 yards and five touchdowns on 23-of-40 passing. WR Reggie Gray grabbed nine receptions for 141 yards and three scores.
With the score set at 49-47 in the Rattlers favor, Kicker Chris Gould executed a successful on-side kick attempt with 22-seconds left in the contest to set the Rush up at their own 23-yardline. The Rush then traveled 10-yards to set Gould up for the game-winning 33-yard field goal with just one-second left on the clock. Two missed extra points by Gould were overshadowed by his victorious kick.
A 51-yard field goal attempt by KICKER FABRIZIO SCACCIA with one-second left in the contest went wide right, allowing the Rush to leave US Airways Center with the victory.
