Georgia Force News Release
Phoenix, AZ - The Arizona Rattlers have acquired OL/DL Nikia Adderson in a trade with the Georgia Force. Arizona welcomes back Adderson, who spent the 2002 and 2003 seasons with the Rattlers before splitting time between Georgia and Austin last season. The Force receives future considerations in exchange for Adderson.
"Nikia is a bona-fide pass rusher," said GM Gene Nudo. "By bringing him back to the Rattlers, we make our line that much better. He certainly has the potential to be an impact player."
Adderson recorded 14.5 tackles, a sack and an interception last season for the Force and the Wranglers. In his first stint with the Rattlers, he had 24 tackles and four sacks. Adderson is entering his fourth year in the AFL after playing his college football at Houston.
The Arizona Rattlers will kick off their 14th season at America West Arena on February 3rd, when they take on the Orlando Predators. For ticket information call 602-514-TDTD or log on to www.AZRattlers.com.
