Force single game tickets on sale January 8

FLOWERY BRANCH, GA, January 7, 2005 – Single-game tickets for all eight Georgia Force home games during the 2005 season at Philips Arena will go on sale on Saturday, January 8 at 10 AM. Tickets may be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at (404) 249-6400 or toll-free at (800) 326-4000, online at GeorgiaForce.com or at Ticketmaster ticket outlets. In Georgia, Ticketmaster outlets are primarily located in select Publix supermarkets. Force single-game tickets range in price from $7 to $89.

Additionally, the Georgia Force announced plans to donate 10 percent of all new season ticket sales during the month of January to CARE for the purpose of aiding the millions of people devastated by the tsunami disaster in Asia last month. CARE is the worldwide humanitarian organization headquartered in Atlanta. Full season, as well as group ticket packages, may be purchased by contacting the Georgia Force ticket offices at (404) 222-5777 or visiting GeorgiaForce.com. Season tickets start as low as $39.

The Force open the 2005 season with a Saturday night contest against the defending Southern Division champion New Orleans VooDoo on January 29. Others games include a Week 3 match-up with head coach Doug Plank facing his former team, the Arizona Rattlers, along with visits from Columbus, Grand Rapids, Dallas and division opponents Austin, Orlando and Tampa Bay.

The Georgia Force kick off their fourth season in the AFL in 2005 under the direction of new owner Arthur M. Blank, owner & CEO of the Atlanta Falcons, and new head coach Doug Plank. A network-TV sport, the AFL will celebrate its third season on NBC in 2005 and additionally will have over 100 games broadcast on Fox Regional Sports Networks.
