
Rascals Fall in Evansville, 7-6

River City Rascals News Release
The Evansville Otters erupted for 6 runs and sent 11 batters to the plate in the 4th to successfully rebound from a 5-1 deficit and defeat the River City Rascals 7-6 at Bosse Field on Thursday night.
The go-ahead runs were scored on a 2-run single by O.J. Garza off of losing pitcher Dan Shouse (1-2). Shouse couldn't finish the 4th as he gave up all 7 Evansville runs on 7 hits.
Carlos Brackley belted his first homer for the Otters, while Brian Fuess led off the 3rd with a solo homer, his 1st of the season for the Rascals.
James Beever made a successful debut in relief for River City with 3 1/3 shutout innings with 4 strikeouts.
Greg Modica will start Friday night's game for River City as they conclude the road trip in Evansville against left-hander Jeremy Lewis. Fans can tune into the game on 104.5 FM KSLQ at 7pm.
