Rock River Raptors News Release
ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rock River Raptors of the United Indoor Football (UIF) league are pleased to announce the new location of the "official post-game party."
The post-game party will now be held at Backyard Grill and Bar in Loves Park (6473 N. 2nd St.). The Raptors first partnered with Backyard Grill and Bar after the last home game when the cold, snowy weather altered their tailgate plans. It was such a success that a partnership was struck for the rest of the season.
After the game, fans are invited to join the team at Backyard Grill and Bar for food, drinks and fun!
For this game only, the Raptors will be offering transportation between Backyard Grill and Bar, the Metro Centre and back to the restaurant on the Raptors and Thunder team bus. The bus ride is free and tickets to the game are just $10 when purchased from Backyard Grill and Bar! The bus is limited to the first 47 people to sign up at the restaurant.
This week, when the Raptors take on the Lexington Horsemen it will be Faith and Family Night, sponsored by TDS Metrocom. Kickoff is at 7:05 p.m. inside the Metro Centre.
Single game tickets are on sale now at the Metro Centre box office,
by phone at 815-968-5222 or online at www.centreevents.com
Fans and businesses can purchase season tickets for the 2007 season by contacting the Raptors front office at 815-965-7000 or by visiting the Raptors website at www.raptorsuif.com.
