Colorado Rapids News Release
COMMERCE CITY, CO. - The Colorado Rapids game this Saturday against the Kansas City Wizards at CommunityAmerica Ballpark has changed times. The game, which was originally scheduled for 6:00 pm MT, will now be played at 3:00 pm MT.
With the Final Four game featuring the University of Kansas tipping off in the evening, the Wizards organization is moving their kickoff time up three hours to accommodate sports fans.
In addition to the time change, the Rapids' local television broadcast of the match has been moved to Altitude from Altitude 2.
For the second consecutive year, both Colorado and Kansas City won their opening games and will be looking to continue their hot starts. The Rapids handed the Los Angeles Galaxy a 4-0 defeat, while the Wizards took a 2-0 victory over DC United. Last year, the Rapids and Wizards tied both contests they played, sharing a 1-1 result on May 19 at Arrowhead Stadium and a 2-2 draw on July 22 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
