Kitchener Rangers Head Coach and General Manager Steve Spott announced today that the team has signed forward James Mense-Dietrich to an Ontario Hockey League contract. Mense-Dietrich was the Rangers' seventh round pick in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection.
Described by Rangers' scouts as a smart player with natural goal scoring ability, Mense-Dietrich recorded 26 goals and 21 assists in 28 regular season games with the Stayner Siskins of the Georgian Mid Ontario Junior C Hockey League (GMOHL) last season.
