Rangers Recall Ryan Bourque from Hartford

NEW YORK, May 2, 2015 - New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that the team has recalled Ryan Bourque from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Bourque skated in 73 regular season games with the Wolf Pack this season, registering 12 goals and 20 assists for 32 points, along with 27 penalty minutes. He established an AHL career-high in assists in 2014-15. Bourque has also notched one assist and has posted a plus-one rating in five playoff games with the Wolf Pack this year, and he helped Hartford defeat Providence in its first round playoff series.

The 24-year-old was recalled by the Rangers earlier this season on Apr. 9. He recorded one shot on goal and registered one takeaway in 11:49 of ice time while making his NHL debut on Apr. 9 vs. Ottawa.

The Boxford, Massachusetts native was originally selected by the Rangers in the third round, 80th overall, of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
