SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League has announced the following schedules for the two Eastern Conference semifinal series in the 2015 Calder Cup Playoffs:

The Eastern Conference quarterfinals ended tonight with the top-seeded Manchester Monarchs knocking off the eighth-seeded Portland Pirates, 5-3, in their winner-take-all Game 5. The Eastern Conference saw all four top seeds advance to the second round.
The Western Conference semifinal schedules will be set after the completion of Game 5 of the conference quarterfinal series between the Grand Rapids Griffins and the Toronto Marlies on Sunday.
In operation since 1936, the American Hockey League continues to serve as the top development league for all 30 National Hockey League teams. More than 88 percent of all players competing in the NHL are AHL graduates, and through the years the American Hockey League has been home to more than 100 honored members of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
