December 10, 2009 - Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) - Rockford Rampage News Release

ROCKFORD, Ill. -- Rockford Rampage goalkeeper Danny Waltman earned Major Indoor Soccer League Goalkeeper of the Month for November, the league announced Thursday.

Waltman helped the Rampage to a 2-0 start to the MISL season in November, allowing only eight points in each of the first two games. Rockford posted victories against the defending champion and host Baltimore Blast (10-8 overtime win) during both teams' season opener. Waltman and the Rampage then topped the Milwaukee Wave, 9-8, in their home opener at the MetroCentre on Nov. 27. Waltman saved 27 of 35 shots in that two-game stretch.

Waltman previously played for the Chicago Storm and Detroit Ignition, and in 2008-2009 he earned an Xtreme Soccer League championship and league MVP and Goalkeeper of the Year accolades.

Among the other November honors, the Blast's Lucio Gonzaga earned Offensive Player of the Month and the Wave's Troy Dusosky Defensive Player of the Month. For more information about their November accomplishments, visit
