Rampage Take First I-90 Showdown-Defeats Chicago 7-6

November 25, 2012 - Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL) - Rockford Rampage News Release

Six different players lit the lamp last night for the Rockford Rampage, as coach Jeff Kraft's men defeated the Chicago Mustangs 7-6 last night at the Victory Sports Center in the first home game for the Professional Arena Soccer League team.

The Mustangs led the match 3-1 at the half, but a strong, six goal second half by the Rampage (4-0) would put them on the winning side of the ledger. Eric Lukin scored twice for the Rampage, and Semir Mesanovic, Bojan Jovicic, Fred DeGand, Adnan Ejupovic, and Admir Ljeljak scored once. Ljeljak's tally would turn out to be the game winner, being scored with just nine seconds remaning in the fourth quarter.

Ante "Chopper" Cop earned his fourth win in goal in as many starts.

The Rampage hold a commanding lead in the PASL's Central Division, leading the second place Rio Grande Valley Flash by three games.

The Rampage will return to the pitch on December 8th, when they will travel down the Tollway to once again face the Mustangs, this time in their home "barn", the Grand Sports Arena in Hoffman Estates. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30PM.

The Rampage will be back at the Victory Sports Complex (7003 North Alpine Rd in Loves Park) on Saturday, December 22nd, when they will host the (Beaumont) Texas Strikers. Kickoff for that game will be at 8:05PM.Rampage remaining home games kick off time will be at 8:05 pm
