San Antonio Rampage News Release
SAN ANTONIO (August 20, 2009) - The Rampage are searching the San Antonio area and surrounding community for talented, enthusiastic young women to compile their 2009-10 Ice Girls squad. Auditions for the team will be held on Sunday, August 30 at Lifetime Fitness (located at 281 just north of 1604). Registration starts at 10:30 a.m. and tryouts will begin promptly at 11 a.m.
All candidates will learn a one minute dance combination that they will perform in small groups in front of a panel of judges. Each candidate will be interviewed by Spurs Sports and Entertainment marketing representatives to determine the best candidates that will represent the organization's core values.
"We are excited about the talent the dancers bring to their auditions. But, our selection process goes deeper than talent," said Ice Girls Choreographer Raquel Garcia. "We interview every candidate to ensure we find the perfect young women for the job. We want talented ladies who can engage and entertain fans at Rampage games, but also ladies who will uphold our company values and represent our organization well within the San Antonio community."
Interested candidates can apply by logging on to sarampage.com. There is a $10 fee for each application.
The newly selected team will make their Rampage debut on October 2 when the team begins their eighth AHL season at the AT&T Center. Rampage season ticket packages are on sale now. For ticket information, please call 210.444.5554 or visit sarampage.com.
