
Rampage Sign Forward Pair to AHL Contracts

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Rampage today announced that forwards Charlie Sampair and Jared Thomas have been signed to AHL contracts.
Sampair, 24, collected one assist in two appearances with the Rampage in 2017-18 while setting career-bests with a team-leading 32 goals and 61 points in 71 contests with the Tulsa Oilers of the ECHL. The White Bear Lake, Minn. native and third year professional has totaled 35 goals, 40 assists and 75 points in 117 career games. Sampair spent four years at the University of Minnesota-Duluth where he recorded five goals and 14 points in 102 games.
Thomas, 24, begins his first full professional season after appearing in one game with the Rampage in 2017-18. The Hermantown, Minn. native recorded a career-high 11 goals and 26 points in 43 games last season at the University of Minnesota-Duluth helping the Bulldogs to their second NCAA Division One Championship following a 2-1 victory over Notre Dame at the 2018 Frozen Four. Thomas finished his four-year collegiate career with 21 goals and 60 points in 163 contests.
Sampair and Thomas were teammates during the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons at Minnesota-Duluth.
