St. Cloud Rox Outfielder Ricky Ramirez

St. Cloud MN - St. Cloud Rox outfielder Ricky Ramirez was named Northwoods League Player of the Night for his performance on Wednesday night in the Rox victory against the Waterloo Bucks.
Ramirez went three-for-six at the plate, including a bunt single. He also knocked in a team-high four runs during the win that put the Rox at the top of the Northwoods League standings.
Ramirez is among the top ten hitters in the Northwoods League in batting average, hits, runs, home runs, and RBI.
He becomes the third position player, and fourth player overall on the Rox to win a nightly award from the Northwoods League, joining teammates Austin Caspersen, Mark Skonieczny, and Luke Ringhofer who all received honors earlier this month.
Ramirez will lead the first-place Rox into La Crosse for a two-game series with the Loggers starting Thursday night. The team will return to St. Cloud on Monday to take on the Wilmar Stingers at Joe Faber Field with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m. The game will feature a Rox umbrella giveaway presented by Wells Fargo.
