
Rainmen Weather Storm With Bounce Back Win

(Summerside, PE) After getting man-handled by 45 points Friday night in Summerside, the Halifax Rainmen came back for a 121-108 win over the STORM Sunday afternoon at the Metro Centre in Halifax in an Atlantic Division game in the NBL of Canada.
Brandon Robinson led the way for the STORM with 29 points while Omari Johnson scored 20 and Greg Plummer had 18. Quinnel Brown was the top point getter for the Rainmen with 27.
The STORM continue to lead the Atlantic Division at 17-11 while Halifax climbs into a 2nd place tie with Saint John at 14-15.
The STORM play next on the road in Montreal this Friday night while their next home game happens February 14th at 7 o'clock at Credit Union Place in Summerside. The February 14th game is a big one featuring the STORMS "Cure on the Court" game for breast cancer research. The game is also a Rogers Day and it's Valentines Day. Tickets for this game can be purchased online at stormbasketball.ca or by visiting the Credit Union Place Box Office.
