
Rainmen Sign Forward Jermaine Dailey

The Halifax Rainmen are pleased to announce the signing of 6'8 forward Jermaine Dailey Friday. Dailey has already been cleared to play and will join the team for their upcoming road game in Moncton on Sunday, February 1st against the Miracles.
28 year old Dailey played his college ball for the Univeristy of Illinois at Chicago Flames, averaging 5.6 points in his final season with the team. After leaving the Flames Dailey would embark on an international career that saw stops in Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Cyrpus, and the United Arab Emirates.
In 2013 he signed with the Moncton Miracles of the National Basketball League of Canada, averaging 9.4 points and 6.5 rebounds for the 2013-2014 season. Jermaine briefly signed with the Saint John Mill Rats during the 2014-2015 season, playing eight games before leaving the team on January 5th, 2015.
Forward Emmanuel Jones has been placed on the injured reserve by the Rainmen. The Rainmen have also finalized the trade of Centre Tim Parham to the Windsor Express for a first round draft pick in the 2016/2017 Draft.
The Halifax Rainmen will return to action inside the Scotiabank Centre on Friday February 6th, against the Brampton A's, in Brampton's only visit to Halifax during the regulr season.
