
Rain washes away finale between Gnats and Tourists

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Tuesday night's scheduled contest with the Asheville Tourists at Historic Grayson Stadium has been postponed due to wet field conditions. This game will not be made up at Historic Grayson Stadium but will be played in the form of a doubleheader on May 28, 2009 when Savannah visits Asheville later this month.
People with tickets from Tuesday night's game with Asheville can exchange their tickets for tickets to any other Sand Gnats home game this season. For more information about exchanging your tickets, contact the Sand Gnats Box Office by calling 912.351.9150.
The Gnats (14-11) will be back in action tomorrow when the Greenville Drive, a Boston Red Sox affiliate, make their way to Georgia's First City. Stolmy Pimentel (1-2, 2.25) is scheduled to start the game for Greenville. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Tomorrow is a Website Wednesday at Historic Grayson Stadium. Fans can log on to www.sandgnats.com beginning at 9 a.m. tomorrow for coupons and discounts only valid at Wednesday night's game.
