Rain Saturday means Fireworks Tuesday

South Bend Silver Hawks News Release


For the first time in the 2004 home season, the South Bend Silver Hawks had Saturday night's game rained out. Because of the postponement of the Hawks game against the Dayton Dragons, the fireworks extravaganza scheduled for Saturday has been moved to Tuesday as part of the Silver Hawks Fourth of July weekend celebration.

Tuesday is also Advertisers Appreciation night at The Cove. Michiana area businesses that have received ticket vouchers from the South Bend Silver Hawks may offer their vouchers to employees, clients or family, who can exchange the vouchers at the Stanley Coveleski Regional Stadium box office.

The Silver Hawks continue their six game homestand tonight when they host the Beloit Snappers (Milwaukee Brewers). Tonight's post-game fireworks will be presented by Clark Foodservice, Martin's Side Door Deli and WNDU. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
