Rain Postpones Shrimp and Biscuits Saturday

Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp News Release
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Rain and inclement weather postponed Saturday's game between the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and Montgomery Biscuits at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. The game is scheduled to be made up as part of a doubleheader of seven-inning games at 1:05 p.m. Sunday, July 1, with gates opening at 12:30 p.m. at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. Regular individual tickets for Saturday's game may be exchanged at the box office for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining regular season home game.
Fans holding tickets for Sunday, July 1, are welcome to attend both games of the doubleheader. Group picnics will remain at their scheduled times.
Thursday marked the eighth scheduled date - sixth at home - the Jumbo Shrimp did not complete an official game due to rain. Tickets from the following rain-impacted dates may be exchanged at the box office for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining regular season home game:

Sunday's doubleheader is the fourth this season - third at home - for the Jumbo Shrimp and second for the Biscuits.
With the schedule changes, the Jumbo Shrimp will wear Jacksonville Red Caps Negro League uniforms later this season, and Sunday's Halloween in July with Pregame Candy Drop will also be rescheduled for later this season.
UP NEXT: The Jumbo Shrimp will continue their series with Montgomery in a doubleheader at 1:05 p.m. Sunday. Gates open at 12:30 p.m. for Baptist Health Sunday Family FUNday. Kids activities will be in the Wolfson Children's Hospital Kids Zone. Between games, families can play catch on the field. Following the doubleheader, kids 12 and under can run the bases. For Navy Mutual Life Insurance Military Appreciation Day, veterans, active, retired and former military and their dependents receive free general admission or reserved tickets by showing an active military or veteran ID at the box office. The game is presented by Easy 102.9.
