Savannah, Ga.- Saturday's game between the Savannah Sand Gnats and Lexington Legends has been officially postponed due to extreme rain and subsequent field conditions. The game will be made up as a part of a doubleheader tomorrow, Sunday, July 20. First pitch is set for 12 noon and gates will open at 11:30 a.m.
Kids 12 and under will receive a free hot dog, chips, and soda thanks to Kia Country Kids Eat Free Sunday.
The Gnats will send RHP John Gant (9-5, 2.97 ERA) to the bump against the Lexington Legends in game one and then LHP Alex Panteliodis (2-2, 4.42 ERA) in game two.
The radio pregame show on News/Talk 630,sandgnats.com and TuneIn Radio begins at 11:45 a.m.
Tickets purchased for tonight's game will be honored as a rain check and can be exchanged for any 2014 regular season game subject to availability.
Saturday's fireworks show has been rescheduled for the home game on Friday, August 1 against the Hickory Crawdads.
