North Shore Spirit News Release
In a rain shortened seven inning game, the North Shore Spirit downed the New Haven County Cutters 1-0.
The only run of the game came in the bottom of the first when Spirit first baseman Vic Davilla connected for his fourth homerun of the season.
The game belonged to the pitchers and especially North Shore starter Ryan Bicondoa. Bicondoa (2-0) went distance holding the Cutters to no runs on three hits. Tim Keinath pitched effectively for New Haven in defeat.
