
Rain Cancels Mountaineers Game

Montpelier, Vt. - Due to inclement weather in the forecast, tonight's New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) between the Vermont Mountaineers (17-18) and Keene Swamp Bats (25-11) has been cancelled.
The meeting was supposed to take place at Alumni Field and be the seventh of eight between the two Western Division rivals. A potential make-up date has yet to be determined for the regular season.
Vermont will be in action on Friday July 27 when they host Danbury at Montpelier Recreation Field. All the game action can be heard live on ESPN 1240, WSKI and online at www.thevermontmountaineers.com.
