
RailHawks to Hold Tryouts to Kickoff Preseason

CARY, N.C. - The Carolina RailHawks continue to build for the 2013 NASL season and are in search of players to join their squad. An open tryout will be held at WakeMed Soccer Park on Saturday, February 16th and Sunday, February 17th. The RailHawks open tryout has proven to be a successful tool for finding talent, including current Chicago Fire midfielder Daniel Paladini.
RailHawks head coach, Colin Clarke, assistant coaches and RailHawks management will be in attendance to evaluate all participating trialists. Players demonstrating that ability to play at the North American Soccer League level will be invited to join the RailHawks preseason camp, scheduled to begin Monday, February 18th. Space will be limited to 50 trialists.
RailHawks Open Tryout Information
Where: WakeMed Soccer Park, 101 Soccer Park Drive, Cary, NC 27511
When: Saturday, February 16, 2013 and Sunday, February 17, 2013
Time: Check-in at 12:30p.m. Combine will begin at 1:00p.m. and last approximately 3 hours. Sunday check-in times will be given at the end of Saturday's session.
Registration Deadline: Tuesday, February 12th (all registration must be received by this date)
Registration Fee: $100
Availability: Space will be limited to 50.
Requirements: All players are required to bring cleats and shin guards or they will not be allowed to compete. Tryout Participants must be 16 years old as of February 1, 2013 and anyone under 18 years old must have a legal guardian present at the open tryout.
Hotel: All players will receive a special RailHawks rate at several area Summit Hospitality hotels.
