CARY, N.C. (Friday, June 25, 2010) - The Carolina RailHawks (3-2-5, 14 pts.) host the Montreal Impact (4-3-4, 16 pts.) on Saturday night at 7 p.m. at WakeMed Soccer Park. All fans in attendance will receive a team poster which they can get autographed by the RailHawks after the game. Tickets ($10, $15 and $20 +$2 day of game), are available at the LGFCU Box Office, by calling 919-859-5425 or by visiting www.carolinarailhawks.com

"Every time we play against Montreal it's a good battle," said RailHawks coach Martin Rennie. "We are two evenly matched teams and it will be an enjoyable match at WakeMed Soccer Park."

The last time these two teams met, the RailHawks won 2-0 at Saputo Stadium in Montreal. Etienne Barbara and Andriy Budnyy tallied the two goals for the win.

The 2009 USL-1 Champions have been having trouble scoring in this first third of the season having tallied only nine goals in eleven games played. Their defense has also been very stingy allowing less than one goal per game. Midfielder Tony Donatelli and forward Rocco Placentino are leading the team in goals with two each. The Impact is coming off of a 1-1 tie against Rochester last Sunday.

The RailHawks return to league play this week at WakeMed Soccer Park sitting in third place in the NASL standings with a game in hand over Montreal. A win would put them back in second place on pace with first place Vancouver. The RailHawks are undefeated in the last five regular season games with two wins and three draws.

This is the last home match for the RailHawks before they embark on another four-game road trip that will take them out for most of July. They will return home for a four-game home stand starting on Tuesday, July 27 as they host the Rochester Rhinos at 7 p.m. For more information or to purchase tickets visit the LGFCU Box Office, call 919-859-5425 or visit www.carolinarailhawks.com.
