Cary, N.C. (Friday, August 06, 2010) - The Carolina RailHawks (6-4-7, 25 pts.) continue their four game home stand on Saturday night as they host Canadian arch-rivals, the Montreal Impact (6-8-6, 24 pts.). The match is set for 7 p.m. and tickets ($10, $15 and $20, +$2 on day of game) are still available at the LGFCU Box Office, by calling 919-859-5425 or by visiting www.carolinarailhawks.com.

Saturday night will be Military Appreciation Night and all members of the military will get in free by showing their military ID at the LGFCU Box Office. Representatives of the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base will perform the presentation of colors ceremony and WWII veteran Hy Marks will sing the American National Anthem.

The RailHawks will look to earn three important points to stay on pace with the Vancouver Whitecaps in the NASL Conference standings. Last Saturday they drew the Vancouver Whitecaps 2-2 with goals by Mark Schulte and Josh Gardner. Gardner now has four goals and two assists for the season.

"We've had a good week at training," said RailHawks coach Martin Rennie. "The guys looked sharper than I have seen them before and we are ready to build on our performance last week against Vancouver. We need to improve on our defending but we are ready to attack the way we did in our last game."

These two teams meet for the fourth and final time this season and are only separated by a point in the standings although the RailHawks have three games in hand. Montreal will be without several key players including midfielder Simon Gatti who is serving an automatic one-game suspension after drawing a red card in the Impact's last outing. Tony Donatelli continues to lead the Impact in goals and assists with six and three respectively.

Looking ahead, the RailHawks return to the pitch for a mid-week game on Wednesday, August 11 as they host the Rochester Rhinos at WakeMed Soccer Park at 7 p.m. For tickets and information please contact the LGFCU Box Office at 919-859-5425 or visit www.carolinarailhawks.com.
