Railhawks Host Free Exhibition Match Saturday April 12th Against University of Virginia

Cary, NC (Friday, April 11th, 2008) - The Carolina RailHawks will host a free exhibition match against the University of Virginia Cavaliers on Saturday April 12th at Noon at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary.

As the RailHawks continue their preparation for the 2008 season, fans can expect to see most of the starting lineup continuing to work on their chemistry and flow of play. Captain Frankie Sanfilippo, midfielders Kupono Low and Steven Curfman as well as forwards Jacob Coggins and Joel Bailey are all expected to see some playing time.

The Carolina RailHawks will take the field again the following day, Sunday, April 13th at 1:00 PM to face United Soccer Leagues First Division rival, the Minnesota Thunder. Tickets for this event are $5 and are available at the LGFCU Box Office at WakeMed Soccer Park.

The Carolina RailHawks men's team home opener at WakeMed Soccer Park is on April 26th at 7:30 PM against the Charleston Battery. The newly-formed Carolina RailHawks women's team will have its home debut on May 16th at 7:30 pm against the Atlanta Silverbacks.
