
RailHawks Finish Road Trip in Vancouver

CARY, N.C. (Tuesday, June 08, 2010) - The Carolina RailHawks finish their four-game road trip in Vancouver on Wednesday night at 10:30 p.m. as they face the Whitecaps at Swangard Stadium. The match will be viewed on the Carolina RailHawks live streaming page at www.carolinarailhawks.com/railhawks-live.
The RailHawks are undefeated on the road this season with a 2-0-3 record and will look to continue their positive streak in Vancouver. Last Sunday in Portland the RailHawks pulled out a spectacular come-from-behind draw against the Timbers with a stoppage time goal by Daniel Paladini.
The Whitecaps are led by veteran Martin Nash who has one goal and 4 assists. They are coming off a 1-0 win against the FC Tampa Bay Rowdies that broke the Rowdies' seven-game undefeated streak. This season the Whitecaps are undefeated at home.
The RailHawks return to WakeMed Soccer Park for a three-game home stand beginning on June 15 with the first round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup against the Charlotte Eagles of USL-2 at 7 p.m. On Saturday June 19 at the RailHawks return to league play as they host Crystal Palace Baltimore at 7 p.m. It will be "Bark in the Park" night and special dog tickets will benefit the Wake County SPCA. It will also be our Father's day celebration and all fathers in attendance will receive two passes to the 10th anniversary of the SAS Championship in September.
