RailHawks Add Easter Egg Hunt and NC A&T Drumline to Opening Day Festivities

Cary, NC (Tuesday, March 3, 2009) - The Carolina RailHawks have announced the addition of an Easter Egg Hunt to opening day festivities for Saturday, April 11 against the Minnesota Thunder at WakeMed Soccer Park. The match is set to start at 7:00 p.m. and individual tickets ($10, $15 and $20) are available at the LGFCU Box Office, by calling 919-859-KICK (5425) or by visiting www.carolinarailhawks.com

The Easter Egg Hunt will take place at 5:30 p.m. on the RailHawks practice field adjacent to the stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary. The hunt is open to children aged three to eight and the RailHawks are offering a special $10 ticket for the children who participate in the Easter Egg Hunt. The ticket will include the pre-game event, a seat to the match, a hotdog and beverage.

This special offer is valid only for children aged three to eight who participate in the Easter Egg Hunt and fans are encouraged to sign up early by calling the LGCU Box Office at 919-859-KICK.

In addition the RailHawks will welcome some very special guests for their Opening Day festivities. The North Carolina A&T Drumline Marching Band Cold Steel will perform for the fans at halftime during the match against the Minnesota Thunder. The band is a cornerstone of NC A&T State University, performing for athletic events, parades, and campus & community activities. The band was also featured in the 2002 movie Drumline.
