RailCats Giving 5,000 Fans Free Vouchers for White Sox Game

GARY, Ind. - The Gary SouthShore RailCats and Chicago White Sox are partnering to give local baseball fans a chance to see two great teams for the price of one RailCats ticket. On Monday, August 3 and Tuesday, August 4 at 7 p.m., the first 2,500 fans through the gates at U. S. Steel Yard will get a voucher to see a 2009 White Sox home game for free!

In association with Comcast, the vouchers will be passed out at U. S. Steel Yard and can be taken to U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago or mailed in and exchanged for an Upper Reserved ticket to see the White Sox battle for the American League Central Division title. The RailCats will pass out a total of 5,000 vouchers, with 2,500 going out each night to fans of all ages.

The voucher giveaways are part of an action-packed homestand for the RailCats August 3-6, beginning on August 3 when the RailCats will be giving someone in the park a free trip to Las Vegas. The RailCats will take care of all airfare and accommodations for two in fabulous Las Vegas over two nights. One night later, August 4, the RailCats will be celebrating Latino Family Night in addition to the White Sox voucher giveaway.

Wednesday, August 5 is Kids Eat Free Night, with every youngster age 12 and under getting a free hot dog and soda from any U. S. Steel Yard concession stand. Then Thursday night, August 6, the Famous Chicken makes his side-splitting annual appearance at The Steel Yard on another Thirsty Thursday, with $2 MGD and Miller Lite drafts for all fans 21-and-over.
