It's cold outside, but baseball season in Northwest Indiana is only two days away at the RailCats First-Ever Fan Fest, this Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel. Don't miss this one-of-a-kind minor league baseball event! It's the perfect way to spend a warm winter day with your family and your favorite RailCats. Pre-Sale tickets ($15) will only be on sale until 3 p.m. Central Time on Friday, February 20. After that, tickets will only be available at the door, where the cost goes up to $20. ESSAY CONTEST WINNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED; OTHER SURPRISES PLANNED
In addition to the schedule and activity information, the RailCats also announced that the winners of the Fan Fest Essay Contest (conducted via the Post-Tribune) will be unveiled during the Opening Ceremony Saturday, with the youth and adult winners having their essays read aloud.
The RailCats will also make two major announcements during Fan Fest's closing ceremonies, so be sure to stick around until 3:00 to be the first to hear the RailCats big news. REMINDER: Pre-sale tickets ($15) will only be on sale through 3 p.m. Central Time, Friday, February 20. If you do not buy your tickets before Friday, the cost goes up to $20 at the door Saturday!
