HATS OFF: Tyler Gjurich scored three times in Saturday's 5-3 win over Evansville to record the first hat trick in Rail Yard Dawgs history. He picked up an even strength and a power play goal in the second before burying an empty net goal with nine seconds left in the third period to put the game out of reach and complete the hat trick. Gjurich recorded six hat tricks during the 2015-16 season with the Danbury Titans of the Federal Hockey League. He led the league in goals (50) and points (100) over 49 games and was named FHL MVP.
