North Carolina FC News Release
Dr. Bobbi Stanley, of Stanley Dentistry, and The Carolina Rail Hawks, United Soccer Leagues Football Club (USL/FC), are pleased to announce that Dr. Stanley has accepted an invitation to become the official team dentist. In her capacity as team doctor, Dr. Stanley will provide emergency services to members of all three Rail Hawk soccer teams, as well as cosmetic, restorative, and general dentistry at reduced rates.
"I was honored to be asked to be the Rail Hawks team dentist and pleased to accept," said Dr. Stanley. "I, my family and my team are all fans, and we are looking forward to getting to know the players and their families on a personal and professional basis."
The Rail Hawks will begin their second season on April 13 when they host the Minnesota Thunder. The team plans to build on the success of their inaugural season. The Rail Hawks capped the 2007 season with impressive play in the USL-1 quarter-final playoffs, and the semi-finals of the US Open Cup. For the 2008 season, the team will be adding a USL-2 men's team and a women's W-League team.
"Soccer is a fast-paced and sometimes rough game," said Dean Linke, voice of the Rail Hawks. "Having a professional of Dr. Stanley's stature on the sidelines and available for any emergency will be a comfort for the players."
