Rochester, NY (January 16, 2009)- Tonight the Rochester Raiders of the Indoor Football League (IFL) will be on hand to participate in the Kick-Off event of Project Wii fest being held at CP Rochester from 6pm to 8pm. The event is being hosted by the Kids Miracle Making Club. Over 80 children from the greater Rochester area will be attending the kick off event. The Rochester Raiderrettes will also be on hand tonight participating and interacting with the children in attendance.
"The Kids Miracle Making Club is doing some great things in the Rochester community that the public should be aware about," commented Raiders General Manager John Nizamis, "They have done extensive work raising money and awareness for the Golisano Childrens Hospital, CP Rochester, and Mary Cariola. One of the best parts about the Kids Miracle Making Club is that kids run it, so it is basically kids helping kids. It is a great thing and the Raiders are very excited to be a part of it."
